Installed Arch on my sister’s laptop (Lenovo 81WE) Everything was fine except it won’t recognise touchpad. After more than half hour of fiddling I finally found a fix which required me to edit /etc/default/grub to include the following line GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="i8042.nopnp=1 pci=nocrs" Now my question is how is touchpad thingy related to grub?
