It used to be that developers would ceremoniously publish releases of their code.

These days, many publish commits and leave users the opportunity to figure out which one to pick.

Looks like almost 10% of the packages provide are of the pick-your-commit variety, which brings us a new hairy yak!

@civodul Just push signed tags with semantic versioning, and keep your commit history clean so the tag’s message can be the shortlog.

Maybe also adopt conventional commits and “grep -Evi“ out any lines matching “^\s*chore(\([^\)]\))?:“ to filter out all the noise.
