Next time someone mentions docker (yeah, because it seems these people tend to not know about the general concept of «container» or that there are other implementations) as a means for reproducibility, I just ragequit and let them make their own experience. 🙄

@alice There’s a growing understanding that “containers” are not helping much in way of reproducibility—Docker images are generally not reproducible to begin with. Growing awareness in both “reproducible science” circles and industry, as in lwn.net/Articles/786066/ . I’m full of hope! :-)
